1. Introduction & Company Identity

This Privacy Policy describes how NOVA ENERGY SYSTEMS LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company ("NOVA ENERGY SYSTEMS LLC," "NOVA Systems USA," "we," "our," or "us"), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website, submit a form, or engage with our energy efficiency, solar, and home electrification services. By using our website or services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Personal Information: Name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
  • Property Information: Home size, age, heating system type, roof condition, utility provider, and energy usage data.
  • Financial Information: Limited financial information collected only as needed to process rebate applications, financing requests, or verify program eligibility.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and cookies/similar technologies.
  • Communications: Form submissions, emails, phone calls, SMS messages, and any documents or photos you upload (e.g., utility bills, program documents).

We collect this information directly from you, automatically through our website, and occasionally from third parties such as utility companies or program administrators when you authorize us to do so.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Schedule and conduct home energy assessments and in-home consultations
  • Help homeowners access the Mass Save® program by coordinating with Mass Save® participating contractors and submitting eligibility and rebate paperwork on your behalf
  • Provide solar, heat pump, insulation, air sealing, battery storage, EV charging, and roofing services
  • Send service updates, appointment confirmations, project status notifications, and promotional communications (which you may opt out of at any time)
  • Respond to inquiries, customer service requests, and warranty matters
  • Comply with legal, tax, regulatory, and contractual obligations
  • Improve our website, services, and customer experience

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal information on one or more of the following legal bases:

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only as needed to provide the services you request or as required by law, including with:

  • Mass Save® program administrators and sponsoring utilities (including Eversource, National Grid, Cape Light Compact, and Unitil) as required to process assessment, incentive, and rebate applications on your behalf
